Kate Rose Eichin Benefit
On June 11, 2010 Kate Rose Eichin, 37, a mother of two, was killed when she was struck by a car outside her home in Long Beach, New York. She left behind her loving husband, Eric Eichin, a New York City firefighter and former Long Beach lifeguard, her 2-year-old son Shea and newborn daughter Charlotte (5 weeks at the time).
Needless to say, the family is devastated from this tragic and sudden loss. Eric will be faced with many challenges going forward raising their children without the love and assistance of their mother. There will be many major financial obligations to deal with due to this unfair circumstance.
This is just the beginning for this family that goes forward with Kate's spirit alive in their hearts. The benefit will help relieve the unneeded financial burden and stress on the family and start funds for Kate's two children.
Thank you to all who have reached out to offer your prayers and well wishes to
Eric, Shea & Charlotte...
for expressing how special Kate was to you..
and for the stories of how she touched your life.
We each have a hole in our heart now that she has left us. We learned a great deal from her...in life and in death.
She is an inspiration to each of us...nudging us to live better lives, to be better people and to remember to love those dear to us.
Kate was a kind and generous soul; she gave freely and in so many ways, to so many!!! She is deeply missed. Her only wish would be that her family would grow in love, happiness, peace and prosperity.
Blessings to all of you!
